Back-to-Back Theatre Productions was founded by Polly Ferguson-Carruthers and Jade Campbell in 2022. They are passionate about making work that amplifies voices in communities that aren’t always heard. They strive to create spaces for people to reflect on their own experiences of living in the modern world, through theatre.
They are both working mums from working-class backgrounds, brought up in places and times where theatre was not inclusive for all. They are passionate about the arts & know how important it is for the industry to hear new stories in theatre.
All of Back to Back’s work is co-created and includes participatory workshops throughout their creative process whilst devising new work. They are passionate about demystifying the theatre making process, highlighting and including stories from underrepresented voices! All of our stories matter and deserve to be listened to!
